The Network in Canadian History and the Environment (NiCHE) runs an annual summer school/workshop attached to the Congress of the Humanities. Graduate students, local experts, and historians at various stages of their career spend three days exploring particular aspects of Congress's host city; this year, it is in Ottawa. I'm thrilled to attend this year's event because even though I grew up in Ottawa, we are visiting sites that I have never seen. Take a look at the program here. Those attending the event will be livetweeting #CHESS2015 from Friday May 29th until Sunday May 31st.
